Thanks
Thanks, I put it in the RSS template file (I'm using the theme plugin).

And yeah, I changed blosxom to replace < with < and so on. I added a comment to the writeback template to warn about this.

Better to Create a story.rss File
I would suggest creating a story.rss file rather than changing the blosxom.cgi code. Changes to blosxom.cgi will of course be overwritten with upgrades; the story.rss will preserve the template. Just copy everything in there into story.rss and you're done. I also recommend changing the
to the link directly to your posting, rather than to the link within the date page, so people can comment directly from there. (e.g.,
).
thoughts...
My thoughts on your 'random thoughts'...

> 3. Why does it take 8 years ...

I'm not entirely up to speed on fictional warp technology. But I guess some complicated machinery is required, with skilled technicians to operate it. Even if
their fleet has a vessel capable of relaying communications it would presumably only be used when required for military purposes.

> But why they chose to go to Sirius instead is beyond me.
Hoshi no koe tells the story of Mikako and Noboru, we as viewers hardly get any details on this war with the Tarsians, certainly not enough to make any kind of judgement whether this choice of going to Sirius makes sense or not.

> 1. Why does the U.N. enroll 15 year old girls in the army?
In most anime as far as i can remember mecha pilots are teenagers. I have no answer to your question, but it is not an issue specific to Hoshi no Koe.

> 2. Why do they allow loose objects to lie around in a fighter unit during combat?
Perhaps it's not allowed at all ;)

I have another question:

- How can the message Mikako sent from Sirius end up being partly garbled/corrupted.. is it that hard to add enough redundancy? Perhaps the technology was never intended for this distance of 8 lightyears.. but in that case it's a miracle the message arrived at all.

--warp.

Can it RPC
I'm not a socket guru, but I do have a SimpleRPCServer working and it does what I need. The only problem is that it does have any encryption. Is there an easy way to use your class to encrypt RPC to/from the SimpleRPCServer???

TIA
